@tickyul That’s something I can get on board with. I’m with you on the weight issue whole heartedly. When it comes to smoking however, Europeans out smoke the shit out of us on a per capita basis. I raced and lived there for 8 years and I swear the entire god damned continent smokes. I was astounded to be honest.
Ameritards, in general, are one of the most undisciplined when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle. I see so many people every day who are basically immobile, the sole reason appears to be they are FATBUCKETS. Also the amount of people in this country who abuse drugs/alcohol/food, has to be one of the highest in the world. Maybe the government should encourage insurance companies to give BIG discounts to their insured clients, for meeting certain health markers (weight, bp, nonsmoker,etc).

One of the biggest reasons health care is expensive is because far too many people in this country look like Moore and if you think he’s obese you should see his wife. they lie about those numbers, i lived in cuba and if you hear doctors that have left cuba talking about it, it is pretty disgusting what they do to achieve low infant mortality rate, like disappearing the records of that infant that died. That government is based on lies and this is another one.

Michael Moore makes me want to PUKE. I’ve lived in a country with socialized medicine. The UK. I heard more times than not how long people have to wait for health care they need. And I totally agree with MonikaNGeneva- nothing is free!
bjarnet3 — please correct yourself. In Norway, you cannot get an MR for “free” as you state. Nothing, repeat, nothing is free.
Just because YOU don’t pay for it out of your pocket immediately does NOT mean that you, or your neighbor, is not paying for the MR. That carries with it a cost in and of itself … costs which, if enacted here, have a penalty on job growth and prosperity.
That’s the flaws of passing the buck. Your spread misery equally.
